I've been doing a lot of thinking. Watching some movies I haven't seen before, working at my new job (casino, woooo!), and playing some video games. The latter got me thinking about an hour ago: What is it you want from me?

All of my watchers clearly watched me for something that I was doing. Maybe I just jumped on the Naruto bandwagon and enjoyed the ride, but somehow got flung off and now I've been dumped back into obscurity. Granted, the fanart was what attracted you guys to begin with, and I have no problem with that. I've accepted that I enjoy doing it and there's really no reason to try to tell you otherwise.

But really, I've been back and gone a few times, so.... I want to know. What is it you want to see again? You can be honest; if you were watching me for one reason and one reason only, go ahead and tell me. Now's your chance to "request" something from me, per se... Not actual specialized requests, but just comment or note me and tell me what you want to see again, Naruto or otherwise. If nobody comments, then I don't much know what to really do, lol.

Whelp.... still no job.

But I sit here with the cosplay itch again, so those are kinda-sorta my plans for the future.





-I already have a Venusaur in the works, but does anybody know of a good site for wigs? I've never worn one before and it's sort of imperative that I obtain one; I can't dye my hair green and still expect to get a job in this town.

-Another possibility was Envy. From Scot Pilgrim. I have no problem with cutting and bleaching my hair for that one (my only issue is bright red lipstick... it looks horrendous on me). I originally wanted to do Roxy but noooo..... my fiance doesn't want me to cut my hair short XD



... I think I had another one or two but now I can't remember them. *derp*

I just recently got denied for another job offer, so I've been feeling kinda down lately; the gift was a sweet little surprise to come back to. :3

In other news, I just contacted a local greeting card company who needs a freelance illustrator. I sent them a reply, asking a few things and pretty much telling them "I WANT THE FUCKING JOB", even though I don't have any of my art pieces to put together a portfolio. After moving to Oregon from New York, my artwork was (temporarily, I had hoped) left behind until it could be shipped here. As of right now I don't have anything to show anybody, so I suppose I'd better start working on some, uh.... stuff.

Good thing is, since I'm no longer in a school of any kind, I can do whatever the hell I please.

I miss drawing zombies.

I finally have come back to dA, just to look through all the stuff piled up in my inbox, and people STILL follow me?

My last journal entry was in July, and it's been half a year since... I'm still engaged, I'm still in Oregon, and (sadly), I'm still jobless.

BUT.

I'm not still agonizing over being manic-depressive. Yes, it hurts most days, but those same days I can push it aside, for the most part. I've done quite a bit of art- I have no access to a scanner, but I have a great quality camera and some new things to post, after a long, long time.

I may post Naruto art like I used to, but it more than likely won't be as ridiculous as it used to be. I feel like I've matured somewhat, but I still love all the little things like anime and video gaming junk. Most of what I've done nowadays is Pokemon-related. A little Adventure Time, as well. I'm hoping that, since an awful lot of time has passed, I can develop a  better understanding of why I liked to draw in the first place.
